The therapeutic process

Three phases, reviewed together as we go.

  1. Initial evaluation

During these sessions, we discuss the reasons for consultation and explore the challenges you are facing, identify possible underlying causes of emotional or behavioral difficulties, and use structured assessments, guided conversations, and small tasks to gain a deeper insight into your situation. Together we develop a preliminary plan for therapy based on your needs.

Starts with a free 10-minute call
  2. Treatment & counseling

Once we have a clear understanding of your concerns, we begin the treatment phase. A personalized therapy plan is created, setting clear and achievable objectives. Regular progress evaluations ensure that therapy is effective and aligned with your goals, and adjustments are made when necessary to optimize the therapeutic process.

    Sessions of about 45 minutes
  3. Review & next steps

Therapy is a journey, and progress is constantly reviewed. Once initial objectives have been met, we assess whether additional sessions are needed, provide tools and strategies for long-term emotional well-being, and ensure that you feel confident in applying what you’ve learned in your daily life.

Number of sessions varies per person
What my clients say

First-hand experiences from individuals and families I’ve worked with.

Read their stories and see how professional psychological support can make a difference.

As a mom, we worry about our children. Valeria is a great resource for me to share my concerns and provide expert advice. Her communication with me is amazing (before and after sessions) and equally amazing is how comfortable my children are with her. I would highly recommend Valeria for anyone who needs extra support to care for your children’s mental well being.

Jennifer · The Netherlands

As an expat, I was looking for a therapist that spoke English and understood what it was like to not be Dutch. Valeria fit the bill. She was extremely easy to talk to, made herself readily accessible to me and provided great support when I needed it. She would check-in with me outside of appointments just to make sure I was doing ok, which is not something I am used to but appreciated. My time, and money, was well spent.

Nancy · USA

With a mix of exercises and conversations you will understand the main problems and how to work on them. She helps you to see from a different perspective, gives you suggestions to have a healthier routine and more. I consider myself an introspective person but analyzing my thoughts with a professional like Valeria it makes a huge difference.
